Brief C.V.

 

Born in Johannesburg on 9th February, 1934, educated at Jeppe High School, studied art at the Witwatersrand Technical Art School, Johannesburg, under Phyllis Gardner, 1951-1953. Between 1956 and 1959 studied in London at the Central School of Art and at St. Martin’s School of Art under Frederick J.P. Gore. Returned to Johannesburg 1959, leaving for London in 1964. In 1967 Julius Sher emigrated to Australia, living first in Sydney, then Perth WA.
