Other Notes

During his stay in San Clemente near Mahon (Menorca), Wim Blom had an arrangement with Gallery 101, Johannesburg, which gave it exclusive right to his work in the Witwatersrand area; this ended on 30th June, 1973.

During July 1970 Gallery 101 Johannesburg held the first exhibition of Inuit (Eskimo) art in South Africa - all items had been personally selected by Wim Blom who was then Curatorial Administrator of the Canadian National Gallery in Ottawa.

Between 1971 and 1980 Fred SCHIMMEL published  a number of silkscreens by Wim BLOM through his Graphic Club of South Africa (see link)
